Sarah Caron
Photographer / Reporter has been travelling around the globe on assignment for mainstream international magazines as well as for long-term personal projects.
She has received many distinctions and awards, which include the Lagardere Foundation Grant, Joop Swart Masterclass World Press Photo 2000, Honfleur Festival Award 2002, AFFA Grant 2002, Getty Grant for Editorial Photography 2006, Canon/AFJ Award of Visa pour l’Image international festival of photojournalism 2012. Nominated for the Visa d’Or Magazine at the Festival Visa pour l’Image 2015. Pulitzer Center Grant for Crisis Reporting 2018.
She is represented by Hegoa Gallery Paris
Her photographs have been acquired by French collections including the National Contemporary Arts Museum Paris and the Museum of History and Immigration Paris.
